Admissions Process
We are currently accepting applications for the next academic year.
Eligibility Criteria
Registration
Parents interested in registering their children in Al Itqan American School should contact the administration where they will be asked to fill in an application form or they can apply online – to apply online please click here . Applications are welcome and considered throughout the year but registration more usually takes place in April, May, June, August and September. Details of the specific entry requirements to certain year group may be varied and can be obtained from the school administration.
Registration Requirements:
Admission is granted after the applicants satisfactorily pass the placement test standards by which students are measured and admitted. These tests are monitored by the departments concerned a onetime registration fee Dhs. 500/- only is payable to book a place. To complete registration procedures, the following items are needed by the administration:
Documents to be submitted with the registration form:
- 2 copies of the students passport with a valid visa for the UAE.
- Valid National ID Card 2 side Copy for Student and Sponsor.
- 4 recent passport size photographs.
- 2 photocopies of the birth certificates in English or Arabic (please attach original for the verification).
- Those who are not born in the UAE, submit the attested Birth Certificate.
- Photocopy of the original mark sheet for the last examination passed at the previous school. (This required for students from Gr. 2 and upward)
Students seeking admission to the school from Gr.2 and upward are required to submit the original TC from the school last attended in English or Arabic duly attested as per the guidelines given below:
For students coming from outside the UAE:
- The Transfer Certificate must be verified by the Education Officer of the Zone/District/Area, from where the TC has been obtained.
- The seal and signature of the Education officer has to be attested by the respective embassies in Abu Dhabi.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs UAE is required to attest it.
For students coming from other Gulf countries the TC must be:
- Attested by the Ministry of Education of that country.
- Stamped coming from place/Emirates other than Sharjah, the certificate should be attested by the Ministry of Education of the relevant Emirate.
Tuition Fee:
A schedule of tuition fee may be obtained from the administration.
